Quick ratio: new MRR for each euro lost
The quick ratio puts what you won against what you lost. Above 1 you grow; the higher it is, the less your growth depends on replacing customers who left.
The formula
Quick ratio = new MRR ÷ lost MRR
An example
In 30 days new subscriptions added €420 MRR and cancellations took €140. The quick ratio is 3.
How Sumly counts it
- Metrics shows it every day over the 30 days before, so you can see it trend.
Mistakes that make it lie
- Reading it alone: a ratio of 4 on €10 of movement says little.
Questions
